Crystal D. Hatton, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS

Crystal holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Family Studies from Corban University. Shelby Trepanier, Professional Counselor Intern

Shelby is a counseling intern who is passionate about helping others feel more understood, supported, and less alone in what they are experiencing. She understands that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming and strives to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe to be themselves. Shelby enjoys working with teenagers, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, mood regulation, and life transitions.
Shelby is especially interested in helping clients better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, whether that involves overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected in relationships. She believes that exploring past experiences can provide valuable insight into how we relate to ourselves and others while creating opportunities for meaningful growth.
Her approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. While she values insight and self-exploration, she also incorporates practical strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients strengthen coping skills, build self-awareness, increase self-esteem, and create lasting change.
Shelby earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Arizona State University and has experience working in psychiatric hospitals, youth group homes, and residential treatment facilities as a mental health therapy technician. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University and provides counseling services under the clinical supervision of Crystal D. Hatton, LPC, NCC, ACS.
Outside the office, Shelby loves exploring new places and has already traveled to seven countries and twelve states. When she’s not planning her next adventure, you’ll likely find her cheering on the Boston Red Sox, working toward her goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium, or spending time with her husband and their babies.

Jasmine Linebaugh, Professional Counselor Intern

Jasmine’s approach to therapy is warm and relational, and she believes therapy is a space created together. She wants you to know that whether you are a teenager figuring out who you are and where you want to go, or an adult carrying trauma, grief, or the weight of life transitions, there is a place for you here.
Therapy can be a place to process and name the hard things, but also be where laughter, witty humor, and celebrations live. Her commitment to you is to listen carefully, ask honest questions, and at times, gently challenge you because she believes you are capable of more than you know. Her goal is to empower you to embrace all that you are and step into a life that feels true and meaningful to you.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Mental Health Studies and a certificate in Behavioral Health. She is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. Outside of the office, you can find her on the pickleball courts, curled up with a good book, or on a patio enjoying good food and company. She has been married for a little over a decade and has two kids who keep her life beautifully full.
Rising Strong Counseling is excited to have Jasmine as part of the team! She offers counseling services under the clinical supervision of Crystal D. Hatton, LPC, NCC, ACS (Oregon License #C6821).
